Before joining Heroes from the Inc., DeAnna worked as an Afterschool and Summer Camp Director, where she honed her skills in program development, strategic planning, and team leadership. Her extensive background in operations, combined with a passion for community engagement, allows her to effectively lead cross-functional teams, streamline processes, and ensure the successful implementation of our vision.

With over 11 years running the Step-Up league, Willie brings hands-on experience, deep empathy, and a passion for equity to every interaction. They're known for building strong relationships, lifting up youth-led ideas, and turning everyday moments into meaningful change.

As the Director of Development at Heroes from the Hood Inc., she powers the mission to uplift and empower young people. A fundraising strategist with heart, hustle, and a deep commitment to youth equity, Tisha leads donor engagement, campaigns, and partnerships that turn vision into action. With over 30 years in the community, she has built lasting relationships with funders and launched initiatives that center young voices.
